D&D stuff

Post by Phill » Sun Sep 25, 2016 8:28 pm

So. I am working on a new campaign for my friends set in a world of my own making and to make things a bit more interesting they are going to be starting at level 1 with pregens of my own making.

Couple of reasons for that. It makes things interesting for them (as the pregens will be randomly handed out) and it means I can tie them into my story a lot easier.

The other reason for doing this is that I have made up characters based on cool looking models I found and will surprise them with on the first session ;) So I have ordered said mini's and when they arrive I shall be painting them up...then I thought if I was gonna do that, then I could pick up some cheap models from ebay (found some mantic orks and dwarves) to use as the things they will be trying to kill.

Then I thought.

Well. If I do that then perhaps I can pick up a cool boss model for when they reach a big bad evil dude.....

Then I thought.

I think I just started a painting blog again.

Then I shat myself.

So, as soon as models arrive I shall be starting to fill up this blog with some pictures.

:eeek:

XD

Actually though awaiting this with much joy Phil, as I enjoy your painting. Actually just started a D&D commission myself for a friend.

For 'throw aways' that will be constantly cycled through as the PCs punching bags, they look pretty good. Painted minis go a long way in a campaign.

Just, for the record.

I am starting to remember why I stopped painting models. Cleaning up and sticking together models SUCKS.

Carry on.

Spent much of the day cleaning and gluing, sigh.

Anyway:

Now I have zombies and skeletons to paint.

Funny though, it was five minutes after I took this picture that I opened a box and found some skeletons and zombies....so....I didn't need to buy these ones on ebay at all.

Fuuuuuuuuk
