Awww, you should try again sir. The discount on figs and regular "business trips" to Nottingham HQ are well worth putting up with LotR and such!

(they even serve cold, frothy Grolsch in Bugman's Bar :luv: )

You can choose from skulls or eyes - the choice is yours :D

Recently I applied at Games-Workshop, they did not want to employ me  Although making it to top 10 out of 200.
Had two calls with one of their recruiter, those were in some way interesting and strange. In the end I did not show them enough of my personality, so that was the reason not beeing invited to their assesement center. Glad though I did it, learned alot of how to do an English application XD

Whoa! That is some news right there, sorry you didn't make it sir but making the top ten is pretty impressive

Will you try again or...?

Hey Ho,
Like mentioned... somewhere else before... I was on a fair over the weekend due to help out on a stand for some friends of a friend. My task initially was to do some painting and explain it to people. Prepared my pestilent swarm box and printed a tutorial for people to take away...
... It all went different...
We got a couple of GW Promo-miniatures and starter-painting sets. After doing tiny amounts of painting I skipped that... we had so many children at our little corner of the stand. Frightening. We assembled, painted and gave away like 200 easy-assembly Primaris and Stormcast Dudes. That was just day 1.
On Sunday we got another 200 Miniatures, almost got rid of them all, round about 50 minis made it home.
All in all, it was a great experience, I would just do it again next weekend. Although having a really bad back on Sunday evening (tables were just too small).
The best thing about it was to have some very interested and talented teenagers (boys AND girls) asking good questions and taking their time to paint their first miniature.

Piccies: the stand was quite large, having like 70-100qm-ish, on the right our painting corner, the rest was gaming tables for X-Wing, GW, BloodBowl, MyLittlePony PnP, Bolt Action and some Western game.

After the storm settled (the first time)

no way that is hiragana... that is proper German letters :finger: haven't you seen those written everywhere, on your last trip to Schwarzwald.
Seriously! this page appears randomly in an all "German" White Dwarf, rumors say that this was done on purpose.
... let me think abuot that... XD XD XD :agree:

I didn't pay too much attention to the language when I was in Offenburg, sir - I was far too busy feasting on traditional Schwarzwälder yakitori and onigiri!

"Weisser Kobito Magazine" has a ring to it, by the way. :rasp:
